Herbal Medicine

Herbal Medicine

Herbal Medicine uses extracts of medicinal plants, containing therapeutic compounds, to support your body’s natural healing abilities. As Western Herbalists we primarily use British medicinal plants including herbs and shrubs, trees, mushrooms, sea vegetables and foods. Our medicines come in the form of tinctures, teas, capsules, suppositories and creams.

Herbal Medicine is ideal for chronic conditions and its gentle action makes it suitable for people of all ages. Herbal medicines can be taken with some pharmaceutical medicines but not with others. Our training in pharmacology affords us the knowledge of where these exclusions occur.

Herbal Medicine is a holistic therapy in that it addresses the mind and body as a whole, and lifestyle and dietary recommendations may be suggested where appropriate.
