BRUNCH – Cardiovascular

The focus of the latest BRUNCH session was on the cardiovascular system (CVS).  After their run, Victoria explained the basic workings of the CVS to the runners, and shared a number of thoughts on how (and which) foods can play an important role.  Key nutrients included B-vitamins, curcumin, folate, fibre, magnesium, manganese, omega-3 fatty acids and potassium.
